Volunteers finishing fencing and planters at Parowan Community Garden; planting may start this weekend

Jennelle Zajac updated the Council that fencing on three sides of the Parowan Community Garden is nearly complete, planter boxes have been filled and manure has been spread in preparation for planting. She said volunteer work sessions are scheduled Friday and Saturday from 8:00–11:00 AM to complete tilling, fencing and irrigation.
Zajac said planting could begin on Saturday if volunteers complete the remaining tasks. The city’s community garden project is moving forward with volunteer support and scheduled work sessions; no formal action was required from the Council.
