Consent agenda approved; one trustee registers a no vote on item 3
Summary

During the consent-agenda portion of the July 27 meeting, Trustee (speaker 6) said he had concerns about item 3 and recommended pulling it from the consent agenda for additional discussion; he then moved to approve the consent agenda as presented. After a second and a voice vote, the president asked for any opposed votes. Trustee 6 recorded, "I want to say aye to all the item 1, 2, and 4, and no to item 3," and the clerk was asked to note that record. The president then stated the board had voted the consent agenda and moved on.
The president had opened public comment earlier and reported that no members of the public were signed up to speak. The president closed public comment and the board proceeded to the next regular agenda items.
