The Weathersfield Development Review Board discussed and agreed on a general approach to on‑site inspections for incoming applications on May 26. Board members said site visits should be the norm for applications requiring Site Plan Review and that subdivisions should have site visits prior to preliminary or final plat review.
The board clarified that expedited projects or those where the Land Use Administrator has completed most of the technical review may be exempt from a site visit. The guidance will be applied administratively and refined as specific cases arise.
