Wynn Fleener and seconded by Paul Kendall, listed specific assignments including: Travis Powell as high school truant officer and Stephanie White-Neuhold as elementary/junior high truant officer; Staci Derstein as Title I and Title IX coordinator, transportation supervisor and Section 504 coordinator; Cassie Kirby as KPERS designated agent, Freedom of Information officer and health insurance designated agent; Brian Deterding as deputy clerk; Amanda Gilchrist as food service representative; KASB Legal Assistance as board attorney; Greensburg State/SJN Bank as official depository; Melanie Deterding as homeless coordinator; and hearing officer designation for free and reduced price meal application appeals.
Those appointments were approved by recorded vote (6-0). The list centralizes several compliance and operational roles (Title I/IX, KPERS, Section 504, FOIA) with identified staff members to streamline district responsibilities for 2020-21.
