District staff presented the first draft of the 2026 enterprise fund budgets for water and sanitary sewer and outlined proposed rate increases during the Nov. 17 board meeting.
According to the draft rate tables discussed by Andrew Tramp, the Water Base would increase from 17.11 (2025) to 17.97 (2026); residential water tiers would rise (Tier 1 from 1.86 to 1.95; Tier 2 from 2.99 to 3.14; Tier 3 from 4.00 to 4.20). The Residential Sewer Base shown in the materials increases from 21.50 to 22.90 and Commercial Sewer Base from 43.00 to 45.80. Mr. Tramp said a five-year forecast accompanies the Water Fund Budget. The board scheduled review of second and final drafts at the Dec. 15, 2025 meeting.
No vote was taken on final adoption at this meeting; the materials on proposed rates will be revisited at the next meeting. The minutes record that the board reviewed both the Water Fund and Sanitary Sewer budgets and that proposed increases were part of the first drafts.
