Bill would expand Delta Conservancy boundaries to include Lake County, consultant says

Jeff Neal told the board AB2216 (authored by Assemblymember Aguiar-Curry) would expand the Delta Conservancy's boundary to include more land in the watershed and specifically referenced Lake County being added to the Conservancy area, which could open access to grants for watershed and water-quality work.
Neal said the author’s office and the Conservancy are receptive and that inclusion could create new opportunities to fund resource and watershed projects that benefit Lake County and downstream Delta water quality.
