Andrew Tramp, a CID employee, presented two options for pedestrian-crossing signage and pavement markings for intersections along Dakota Dunes Boulevard and recommended treatments that would increase visibility for pedestrians. "The Board instructed Mr. Tramp to get firm pricing for LED Flashing Pedestrian Crosswalks with a push button for those to activate to cross and continental style crosswalk markings," the minutes state.
Board Supervisor Mr. Shorma had earlier noted the importance of marked and controlled crosswalks when discussing a potential legislative bill on golf-cart access. The Board identified the Prairie/Meadows intersection as the first location to consider and asked staff to return firm pricing and recommendations at the Jan. 20, 2026 regular meeting.
