Board to advertise for construction manager at risk to broaden local contractor access

"Basically you just advertise it for two weeks and whoever would be interested... has to submit a proposal and then the board would go through those proposals," Scott said. The board voted to advertise for CMAR proposals; that advertising step does not obligate the district to hire a manager and gives the board flexibility to evaluate responses and select a procurement path.
