At the Oct. 12 meeting, elementary Principal Stephanie White-Neuhold reported on Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing, K–5 art class activities and preparations for parent/teacher conferences. High school Principal Travis Powell updated the board on the high school musical, homecoming and an FFA competition, and he stated that remote learning/Zoom is not provided for typical non-COVID absences.
Principal Brian Deterding provided virtual student counts and an activities report. Superintendent Staci Derstein told the board that parent/teacher conferences will be held Monday, Oct. 28 to avoid a scheduling conflict with a revised State Volleyball schedule; she also suggested the board set a date for the superintendent’s yearly evaluation.
