During its Sept. 15 meeting the Santa Fe South Schools board reviewed and approved a set of student- and staff-facing policies. The minutes record motions and 4–0 votes for revisions to the Bullying and Harassment Prevention Policy, the Mental Health Policy and Protocol, the District Student Code of Conduct, Student Records Policy, FERPA compliance policy, Personal Electronic Devices Policy, the District Nondiscrimination Policy and the Medication: Administering to Students Policy.
Each policy motion was moved and seconded by board members and recorded as passing unanimously. The minutes do not include extended debate or public comment on the policies; approvals were recorded as discrete agenda items, indicating the board adopted the policies at this meeting for district implementation.
