At the Sept. 15 meeting the board received the district dashboard and financial overview. The superintendent’s report recorded enrollment approaching 4,900 students and that staffing is essentially fully staffed. Director of Finance Maritza Santiago said the gift fund had additional funds, and CFO Larry McFarlin told the board the district will move forward with a line of credit previously approved on July 21, 2025 to smooth reimbursement timing.
The minutes record that the board approved the July financial report and noted the plan to use the line of credit; the minutes do not record a vote specifically authorizing a new loan, only that the district will proceed with a previously approved line of credit. The minutes also record a Bark Week fundraising total of $31,412 for Fostering Sweet Dreams as part of development updates.
