Director of Finance reports state Title I budget pending; board approves August financial report

Maritza Santiago, the district’s Director of Finance, briefed the board that Santa Fe South Schools is in the process of submitting state claims and is awaiting the state’s final action to finalize the Title I budget. The board recorded this update as part of the financial overview for the meeting on Oct. 20, 2025.
Following the presentation, Susan Agel moved to approve the financial report for August 2025; Vicky Primeaux seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The board will monitor the Title I budget finalization and state claim reimbursements as part of regular fiscal oversight.
