The Tunbridge Conservation Commission read and adopted a new Vision Statement at its April 2 meeting. The minutes record the text: "The Tunbridge Conservation Commission engages and empowers our community to embrace a commitment to responsible stewardship of our lands, wildlife, and the environment." A motion to adopt the Vision Statement was moved by Mali’o Kodis and seconded by Cheryl Metcalf; the motion was adopted.
Commissioners framed the vision as a guide for outreach, education and hands-on conservation projects.
