At the start of the March 26 meeting Commissioner Pete moved to approve the Jan. 22, 2025 minutes and Commissioner Brian seconded; the motion carried with unanimous consent. Toward the end of the meeting Commissioner Pete moved to adjourn and Woody seconded; the meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
The commission discussed administrative items including a mid‑May newsletter that will cover the Chase Brook update, invasives work, volunteer recruitment, Boyce events, Tri‑town conservation commission activities, and the Bear Initiative. Members said they will recruit prospective candidates for commissioner terms and will report back at the April meeting; commissioners also voiced full support for Ira Shadis’s native plant nursery grant proposal. The next meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2025 at 5:45 p.m.
