The Fayston Conservation Commission approved a motion to allocate up to $3,500 from the Town Forest Reserve Fund to support a Vermont Master Naturalist documentary on Boyce Hill. The filming team (Pete Colgan, Woody Dugan, Brad Long, Samantha Ford and Alicia Daniels among others) completed filming on April 17; the commission had applied for a $700 Tiny Grant from the Association for Vermont Conservation Commissions to offset costs.
Pete Colgan made the motion to approve up to $3,500 and Andrea Henderson seconded; the minutes record that all voted in favor. Brian Litmans noted the commission had considered $2,500 in its 2025 budget request for the Town Forest Reserve Fund prior to this motion. The commission did not record any recorded abstentions or opposing votes.
