"The resolution from the planning commission to hold the public hearing is your 1st step," Devin said, and later summarized timing considerations: "So at the minimum, from the point in which your town plan is completed... you're looking at the minimum 45 days" and, "So we typically say to towns, like, expect about 60 days." Devin offered to review the commission’s draft next week and to merge data and maps the commission supplies for an expedited statutory check.
Commissioners responded that maps and school data would be provided early next week so staff can finish the draft; they discussed how to schedule hearings to minimize delay and potentially stack meetings to shorten the overall calendar.
