Superintendent Becky Bell said postcards with student art were mailed to solicit donations and that donors may give online via a QR code to an account managed by the Orcas Island Community Foundation or mail checks to the district; the minutes also record a $25,100 donation since the previous meeting.
The minutes show OPALCO has been paid for electrical installation and that trenching for utilities was discussed. Bell reported meeting with Project Manager John Bingham and Philip Burkhardt of PBW to discuss contract roles and the building process.
