Superintendent Becky Bell told the board she is reviewing updated health policies to bring forward at a future meeting and can present a draft minimum fund balance policy because the district currently does not have one. She said the district is collecting School Improvement Plan pre- and post-outreach data to support planning.
Bell also said she is researching ways to use local United Way funding to support district needs; she noted the district has not historically received support from those local United Way funds and suggested they could be used for playground equipment if eligible. The board did not take formal action on these items at the Feb. 10 meeting; staff will return with materials and proposals at a subsequent meeting.
