Shaw Island board elects Shirley Lange chair, appoints rep to teacher housing finance committee

The Shaw Island School District Board of Directors voted on Dec. 16 to reorganize its leadership for the coming year, electing Shirley Lange as board chair and Shannon Klohr as vice chair. The board also voted to keep Carol Criss as corresponding secretary and legislative representative.
During the organizational portion of the meeting, multiple motions were made, withdrawn and resubmitted before the appointments were approved unanimously. Chair Lange then appointed Director Criss as the board's representative to the teacher housing finance committee, formalizing the district's existing representation on that oversight group.
