Planning staff recommended approval, saying the request brings the PUD into alignment with the underlying CS (Commercial Shopping) zoning that allows drive‑throughs. Staff also noted that the Comprehensive Plan designates the parcel as a Local Center, and that introducing a regional trip generator would require a broader land‑use change to Regional Center and neighborhood input.
The motion to approve was made by Commissioner Turner‑Addison and seconded by Commissioner Whitlock; the vote was 8‑0‑0 with Commissioners Bulmash, Cue, Hood, Krug, Shivel, Turner‑Addison, Walker and Whitlock voting yes. Staff materials state the amendment is a minor change that does not alter other PUD development standards. The applicant is listed as Xenophon Kenny Yialias, and staff recommended retaining all remaining development standards defined in PUD‑360‑G and subsequent amendments.
