Board approves Oct. 3 Apple Day field trip; Shaw School Foundation apple pressing set for Oct. 18

Directors approved an Oct. 3 Apple Day field trip to Waldron Island and noted the Shaw School Foundation will hold its annual apple pressing fundraiser on Oct. 18 at the school grounds.
Director Jon Shannon moved to approve the Oct. 3 Apple Day field trip to Waldron Island; Director Shannon Klohr seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The field trip was recorded as part of the business and operations consent items approved by the board.
Superintendent Becky Bell also announced that the Shaw School Foundation will use school grounds for its annual apple pressing fundraiser on Oct. 18. Both items were presented during the Superintendent's report and business agenda and were approved or recorded without additional conditions.
