Summary
At its May 6 meeting the Planning Commission approved consent items, recommended several rezoning and code changes to City Council, continued two items to May 20, 2026, and initiated Housing Feasibility Amendments Part II.
The Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission took the following formal actions on May 6, 2026:
- Approval of minutes (Meeting 2959, April 15, 2026): Motion by Commissioner Craddock, second by Commissioner Shivel; vote 11-0-0. - Consent Agenda: Approved PUD-709-7 (rear setback reduction to 18 feet contingent on utility easement closure/license) and Z-5637-SP-1b (dynamic display sign amendment) on a consent motion; vote 11-0-0. - Z-7858 (OL and RS-3 to CG with optional development plan): Recommend approval to City Council; vote 11-0-0. - Z-7859 (RS-1 to IL): Recommend approval to City Council; vote 11-0-0. - Z-7860 and CPA-131: Continued to May 20, 2026 at staff request; vote to continue 11-0-0. - SA-8 (NIO boundary extension): Recommend approval to City Council; vote 8-3-0. - ZCA-38 (NIO text amendments): Recommend approval to City Council; vote 8-3-0. - Saint Francis Hospital South preliminary plat extension to April 6, 2027: Approved; vote 11-0-0. - Initiation of Housing Feasibility Amendments, Part II: Approved to initiate; vote 11-0-0. - Adjournment: Motion by Chair Walker; vote 11-0-0.
These actions will be forwarded to City Council where indicated; items continued to May 20 will return for public hearing consideration.
