Lee Clark described R-26-12, a request by Ashlee Mullis to rezone approximately 1.726 acres on Greensboro Road from Suburban Residential and Agricultural (S-R and A-1) to Commercial B-1. Planning staff described the location and tax-map references. During the public hearing, Harold Bell of the Ridgeway District spoke to voice concerns about commercial land bordering his residential property.
Despite the neighbor's concern, the Board, on a motion by Mr. Pruitt and seconded by Dr. Cobler, approved the rezoning request by unanimous vote. Planning staff will process the change-of-zone paperwork and notify adjacent property owners per county procedure.
