Supervisors approve Morrison/Morrison Woods one‑lot subdivision

Ryan Bellark, Madison County zoning administrator (Speaker 10), presented a staff report on the Morrison/Morrison Woods one‑lot subdivision in Section 13 of Penn Township and said the split complies with Madison County subdivision regulations and the comprehensive plan. Bellark said the lot would be transferred within the family and noted required permits and driveway approvals had been obtained.
The board opened a public hearing and invited comments; there were none in person or by phone. After the hearing closed, the board voted to approve the final plat and adopted the related zoning resolution. Bellark noted the parcel is outside the 100‑year FEMA floodplain and is consistent with the primary agricultural future land use designation.
