At 7:50 p.m. Kevin Cole moved that the board enter a 15-minute executive session to discuss an individual employee’s performance under the Kansas Open Meetings Act (KOMA). Brian Harlow seconded and the motion carried 4-0. The board resumed public session at 8:05 p.m. and the minutes state no action was taken following the executive session.
The minutes do not identify the employee discussed, consistent with KOMA protections for personnel matters; no votes, disciplinary actions, or employment decisions were recorded in the meeting minutes following the executive session.
