Superintendent reports smooth enrollment, announces three-year leadership coaching

Superintendent John Wyrick reported to the Labette County USD 506 Board on Aug. 12 that last week’s enrollment "went well" and announced a districtwide leadership initiative.
Wyrick said Tamara Lindholm with ESSDACK met with the USD 506 administrative team and will provide the "Inspired Leadership Course," a three-year leadership coaching program for district employees. Lindholm is scheduled to speak at the district inservice on Friday, and Wyrick invited staff to attend.
Board members responded positively in later comments. Rich Falkenstien said the program "sounds great for our District and we all need to invest in the program," and several board members thanked staff for summer work preparing buildings and operations ahead of the school year.
