Commission presses RPC to resolve multiple town-plan versions and supply one authoritative draft

Commissioners spent much of the meeting working through confusion caused by multiple circulated versions of the town-plan draft (PDFs, Word files, and printed copies with differing comments). Several members reported they could not see the tracked changes or the comments on their printed copies and asked RPC to resend a single, authoritative Word document with visible track changes.
Sean of the Rutland Regional Planning Commission said he produced a clean version and an annotated, tracked-changes version and offered to re-send the Word doc and to display it on Zoom. Michael Fowler emphasized that commissioners "need to be abreast of that change" when edits are made. The commission agreed to hold a special meeting (tentatively Aug. 26 at 5:30 p.m.) to review the document together so everyone has the same copy and can mark comments directly. RPC offered to print color copies for members without reliable printing.
