The Skamania School District board voted Oct. 15 to increase adult meal pricing to $5.00 per the district’s recently accepted food-service application and federal guidelines.
Cynthia Dominik Medlin moved to approve the price increase, Lisa Young seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The board rounded the suggested price to $5.00 per adult meal; staff will implement the change in the district’s meal accounting systems so the higher adult price aligns with federal program requirements.
Board discussion did not record objections; the change affects only adult (non-student) meals and does not alter student free or reduced-price meal eligibility.
