Council certifies canvass: four-mill health-unit tax renewal passed in June special election

Resolution No. R26-19 to canvass and declare the election results (motion by Louis Joseph, seconded by Darrell Sinagra). No council action beyond adoption of the resolution was required.
The renewal covers a ten-year levy beginning with tax year 2027 and running through 2036; the resolution had been published in full at WWW.TANGIPAHOA.ORG prior to passage.
