The Mashpee Community Preservation Committee reorganized its leadership at the July 28 meeting. Members nominated and voted by roll call to elect Arden Russell as chair, Mary Wagon as vice chair, and Brian Hyde as clerk.
Nominations were opened for chair, vice chair and clerk; candidates accepted their nominations on the record and members voted in favor by roll call. The committee discussed continuity of staff support and urged members to remain engaged ahead of the Select Board’s Aug. 10 meeting on draft warrant articles affecting CPC funding. The newly elected officers will serve as the committee’s official contacts for communications to the Select Board and to prepare the committee’s memo and materials.
