Harvey County staff reported Dec. 16 that only one firm submitted a proposal in response to the county’s Request for Proposal for medical services at the Harvey County Detention Center.
County Administrator Kevin Frymire said Southern Health Partners was the sole respondent; staff will review the proposal and present a recommendation to the commission at a future meeting. The RFP process described minimum requirements including a prescriber on site or on call 24/7; on‑site nursing coverage of at least 40 hours per week; TB testing; and training requirements for CPR and mental‑health awareness.
