Principal outlines schoolwide plan progress and spring events at Mansfield

Principal Lisa Guzman presented her April report, saying the school's focus for the year is ensuring Washington state academic standards are taught and learned and that the leadership team is nearly finished with an updated schoolwide plan for grant compliance that should be ready for the next board meeting. Guzman said the plan documents curricular supports, intervention plans, parent-family engagement and areas of concentration such as computer science and CTE.
Guzman also reviewed a busy schedule of spring events: 4/29 5th/6th grade salmon release, 4/30 Passion Project Showcase (5:30 PM), Books for Bikes K-6 (5/4-6/1), 5/6 Beebe Springs Outdoor Education (3rd/4th), 5/21 Color Run (half-day schedule), 6/06 Graduation and 6/10 all-school field trips. She noted leadership team work on the schoolwide plan and upcoming staff professional development days.
