Commission hears study-session updates; United Way 2-1-1 did not attend

A scheduled Spotlight on Services presentation from United Way 2‑1‑1 did not appear. Staff briefed commissioners on the Week of the Young Child events planned for April, new WOTYC banners for Los Banos, progress on the Children Summit (a morning speaker is still being sought), participation in the state’s Choose Children activities, and an upcoming Advocacy Day in April. Commissioners were offered the opportunity to attend Advocacy Day.
Staff also noted the First 5 Association of California 2026 bill tracker as a resource. Commissioners provided no substantive comments during the study-session items.
