Commissioners authorized the executive director to negotiate and enter into a contract with Kids Discovery Station (KDS) to support a database attendance tracker for children ages 0–5 and to fund a mobile storage solution for equipment at a temporary site owned by Merced Office of Education. Executive Director Scott Waite said staff identified the software/attendance tracking and a mobile storage solution as the pieces most feasible to complete by June 30.
No public comments were offered. Commissioner Eva de Long moved to approve the authorization and Commissioner Cindie Dibblee seconded; commissioners approved the item 6–0.
