Jackson County to post proposed budget online; final hearing set for next Tuesday

A supervisor asked why staff held a hearing before the proposed budget was posted; Shelley explained that the hearing today sets the advertised maximum levy and that the proposed budget will be posted prior to the next, final public hearing. The board encouraged residents with questions to review the posted budget and attend the next meeting.
