The Soap Lake City Council on Sept. 4 approved an agreement (pending review by the finance department) with White Bluff’s Consulting, LLC to provide consulting support for the city’s comprehensive plan update. The motion, made by Councilmember Bryson and seconded by Councilmember Woodhouse, carried unanimously.
City Planner Kovach will receive consulting support from the contractor during the plan review and update process. The contract includes an expenditure cap of $12,000 and was approved conditionally upon the finance office completing its review. The council did not debate alternate contractors; the item passed by unanimous vote. The contract and any additional fiscal details will be reviewed by finance staff before the agreement is finalized.
