Commission Chair Matt Couillard and the Williamstown Cemetery Commission approved a new maintenance contract naming the vendor Hill House Estates, LLC for 2025 after the vendor notified the commission of a business-name change.
Joe Mangan and Kaira Mangan told the board their business will operate as Hill House Estates, LLC beginning Jan. 1, 2025. Chair Couillard said the existing Kirkyard Services contract would be voided because the new contract replaces it; Commissioner Daphne Herwig moved to sign the Hill House Estates contract and Commissioner Matt Walker seconded. "I’ll make the Motion to sign the Contract for Hill House Estates, LLC for the 2025 year," Herwig said, and the motion passed with all present voting in favor. The contract was circulated and signed at the meeting; copies were given to Joe and Kaira.
The minutes note Susan Lyons checked the contract and added Joe’s name to the signature line in addition to Kaira’s, and that Kaira is listed as owner on the paperwork. The commission recorded the vendor name change and execution of the 2025 contract for the record.
