Whitingham asks EPA for free technical assistance on sewer expansion and rate study

Selectboard Administrator Gig Zboray told the board the town requested technical assistance to study potential sewer collection expansion, update the sewer ordinance, and consider a rate study. Zboray said the assistance would be provided at no cost "if they decide to help us," and that the EPA had received the request and would work to match Whitingham with an appropriate technical-assistance provider.
Zboray told the board the town should expect to hear more "in the next couple of weeks." The board did not take formal action but directed staff to await the EPA response and bring any proposals back for review if a provider is offered.
