Road commissioner: half of town bridge cost prepaid; one new truck delivered, tractor needs costly repair

He told the board one of the two new trucks ordered for the highway department is finished and the second is expected to arrive next week.
Janovsky also reported that the town tractor is malfunctioning and that repairs will be expensive; the board did not vote on a replacement or repair at the meeting and directed staff to pursue cost estimates. The highway update was delivered during regular business at the Selectboard meeting on July 22, 2026.
