Becky Couch, who introduced herself as the new director of the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO), outlined the current update to the region’s 20‑Year Transportation Plan and asked council members and staff to help promote a public survey that closes Feb. 14, 2025.
"She has asked that all council members and staff help with the survey that ends on February 14, 2025," Couch said, and she provided handouts and posters to encourage participation. Couch said the survey is intended to gather public input to guide priorities in the next two decades; the minutes do not include a link or details about outreach targets. The council did not take any formal action on the plan during the meeting.
