Council directs city attorney to draft HVAC installation agreement for James Building

On a motion by Councilmember Bryson, seconded by Councilmember Woodhouse, council directed the city attorney to draft the agreement and requested review by Fire Chief Baker and City Attorney Norton. Council discussion emphasized that the HVAC units must be installed high enough not to impede pedestrians walking between buildings and must allow access for fire department and emergency responders. The draft agreement will be returned for council review at the next meeting.
