During discussion of the GreenVAS Scan Sign pilot, Program Specialist Malaya Van Kleek reported that eight forms have been identified so far for potential inclusion in the pilot. Van Kleek specifically listed the County of Maui application, Kupuna Care Agreements, and an emergency preparedness form as examples.
Commissioners recommended prioritization criteria such as frequency of use and emergency relevance, and suggested considering state-level forms as well as county forms. Gisella Tomita and public commenters urged including representatives from deaf, hard-of-hearing and deaf-blind communities in selection to ensure forms address real user needs.
Commissioners asked staff to continue identifying and narrowing the list of forms and to return with a plan for community review ahead of future meetings.
