Soap Lake council approves 1% property tax levy increase for 2025

The vote followed two brief public hearings earlier in the meeting on the proposed 2025 budget and ad valorem tax, both of which drew no public comment. Mayor Peter Sharp noted department heads are submitting final budget numbers and the city remains on track to present a final budget at the next council meeting.
