The Brooks County Commissioners' Court convened for a special session on March 22, 2024, opened by County Judge Eric Ramos at 9:10 a.m. The court recorded a unanimous roll call of four voting members and completed routine business including approval of bills and claims.
During the short session the court approved a forensic-pathologist services contract, approved financing through Government Capital Corporation using a four-payment option, and authorized two small line-item transfers totaling $2,350. The court also tabled consideration of the Jersey Trails Estates plat and a proposal to purchase and install cameras at the courthouse. The meeting was adjourned at 9:32 a.m.
