City introduces two new firefighters and new city planner

South Fox introduced two full-time firefighters (Levi Blau and Hunter Casey) and welcomed Alika "Ali" Murphy as a new city planner; staff described their backgrounds and onboarding plans.
The council recognized two new full-time firefighters, Levi Blau and Hunter Casey. The fire chief welcomed the hires and said both are completing field training and "working really hard to get all their preliminary stuff" in order to join regular duty.
The mayor also introduced the city’s new planner, Alika Murphy, who said she comes from West Haven City and Hasatch Civil and holds an urban planning degree from Weber State. "So I'm Alika Murphy. I also go by Ali," she said, adding that she is eager to work with residents and the general planner on upcoming projects.
Council members praised the hires and staff said they expect the new planner to assist with growth and development work in the coming months. A council photo opportunity followed the introductions.
