"We seem to have a garbage problem," Jorgensen said, describing multiple missed pickups and online complaints. He asked whether the city could consider another contractor, saying residents continue to be charged while collection is irregular. He also raised a separate concern about fireworks at 1:30 a.m. on Glassman Way and asked how residents should report that when it is occurring.
City staff asked Jorgensen for his address and said public services would be contacted the next morning; the mayor advised residents to call dispatch or the business line while disturbances are happening so officers can be dispatched. Council and staff agreed to follow up with public works about potholes Jorgensen identified.
