“Like I said, I didn’t even for that. Yes. That’s why I said so that’s yeah. The city’s portion, I know there’s more money. Outdoor Rec… we did receive $200,000 from Outdoor Rec for that,” Anscombe said, noting a change order of about $22,000 and that staff are still clarifying which landscaping elements need removal or replacement.
Council members and staff discussed whether to re-landscape certain areas and the tradeoffs between grass and concrete edging. The council emphasized finalizing remaining landscaping and clarifying the total city outlay before proceeding with any new grant requests tied to park improvements.
