A second adjustment for Matt Martinson (Marie #1 Caboose) was handled similarly: Luanne had called Martinson, who had already repaired the leak; Ditsworth moved to reduce Martinson’s bill from $5,241.20 to the base rate of $210.98, seconded by McGuire and approved by majority vote. Council also denied a separate request to waive a late fee for a customer who said they had been hospitalized; Sandretto moved to deny the waiver citing gifting of public funds, and the motion passed by majority vote.
