Adventure Cove schedules Champions Day for patrons with disabilities

Staff member announced that Adventure Cove will host Champions Day sessions on June 20 and July 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with free admission for guests with disabilities and 50% off for family members attending with the guest.
"It's an opportunity for people to come and swim and enjoy Adventure Cove that may not be comfortable coming when it's the general session... it's more of a dedicated time and the lifeguards are trained to watch for different things," Staff member said.
Board members welcomed the outreach opportunity and suggested improved publicity to alert families and disability service networks so eligible participants know how to attend.
