Dane said the ordinance preserves existing meter-based calculation language for grandfathered customers while adding a mechanism for draft agreements that default to state design criteria and return to council for approval.
Dane said staff is performing wastewater quality testing for the anticipated agreement and that the draft contract will include protections for the city’s plant and infrastructure; he also noted a five-year termination clause is part of the draft language being finalized with RV park representatives. Council approved the ordinance on final reading.
